About
I'm Beth Deacon. I am an experienced Children's Speech and Language Therapist, based in South Wales.
I support speech, language and communication development for children under 5.
I work with children of any age who need support with their speech sounds.

I work with children and the adults who spend time with them. As well as developing the child's speech, language and communication skills, I can also support the adults develop a communication environment that is well matched to the child's communication stage, style and interests.
My style is supportive, flexible and collaborative. The therapy I offer is child-led, taking into consideration your child's interests, their pace and their way of communicating. I use approaches that are backed up by evidence and tailored to suit the individual needs of each child and family.
As a Speech and Language Therapist with 23 years' experience, I have supported children and young people from age 1 to 19, in settings such as preschool clinics, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, online and in families' homes.
Cymraeg
I speak Welsh as a strong second language. I am a Welsh language tutor for adults at the early stages of their language learning journey. For bilingual Welsh-English families, I use both Welsh and English with adults, and either Welsh, English or both Welsh and English with children- depending on the family's preference.
